Is it too early for Christmas cards?

I've come across a few blogs that make only Christmas cards. The idea is to have challenges with Christmas themes so that by the time Christmas rolls around you will have all your cards ready. I always think that I will start early enough but  then at the last minute I always find myself in a rush. So this year I think I will try it this way. It always helps me to have a challenge. it gets me to think and get something done. This time I am submitting my card to http://abcchristmaschallenge.blogspot.com/ Their challenge this time is H for Hardware.
Here's what I came up with:

I used these star brads for hardware

I have a Tim Holtz pin, a stickpin that I made and the red book plate. So you can see I used allot of hardware on this card.  It was fun to make something out of season. So I guess it really is never too early for Christmas cards. LOL

Unscripted Sketches #155 + piggy back

Welcome to sketch it Saturdays. This week not only do we have a great sketch but with it being Earth day weekend  we have also  added a recycling element to the cards.
For my card the recycled products are: The bird tag, which is from an article of clothing ( it was so cool I couldn't throw it away). The cardboard with the saying on it is recycled and so is the little safety pin. I love to save everything so making a card with recycled items is right up my alley. Come join us http://unscriptedsketches.com/. I cant wait  to see what you will create. :)

Spring Joy

Aren't these the cutest carrots you have ever seen? I made these for my Sister who was having a luncheon and she put them by each plate. The carrot opens at the top to put in a little treat. FUN FUN FUN!!!

Love at Easter

I made this card for Unscripted Sketches challenge #152 http://unscriptedsketches.com/ And since Easter is almost here I thought I'd make a Easter card. It gave me a chance to use some dollar stamp eggs that I haven't been able to use yet. I thought they would make a great back ground.
I'm also entering it in the Paper Sundaes Challenge #114 -Happy Easter http://www.papersundaes.blogspot.ca/
Hope you enjoy it. And hope you all have a very Happy Easter.
