Christmas Card Challenges #43

The challenge this week at Christmas Card Challenges comes from this inspirational photo. It was quite a challenge for me. I normally do traditional colors for Christmas cards so this one is really out of the box!  Hope you can join us for this challenge. I would love to see what you come up with.

Christmas Card Challenges #42

This week's challenge is..... Animal Prints..... What? Animal prints on a Christmas Card? Yes it's true. I accepted the challenge.  So did the wonderful Design Team. Come check out all the great cards and then try one for yourself.  Remember the challenge is optional. The only rule is that it be a winter/holiday card.

I chose to use Alligator print and I think it worked pretty well.

Unscripted Sketches + Card cupids

Unscripted Sketches #176

It’s time for our monthly PIGGYBACK CHALLENGE! If you haven’t played along with us before on a piggyback week, it is simply an additional, optional challenge. Whether you choose to add the piggyback challenge element to your project will in no way effect consideration for Top 3 or other prizes.

This month’s piggyback challenge is to USE YOUR CARD! I know how we all love to make cards just for the fun of it, but this time, the challenge is to actually send/give it to some one. If there aren’t any birthdays or other special occasions coming up, perhaps you’d like to send a note of encouragement to a friend, thank a neighbor for letting you “borrow” their hedge trimmers for the last 6 years, or cheer up a co-worker whose last child has just gone away to college.
There are also many different organizations that love getting home made cards donated to them. You can get that info HERE

Here is my card. I will be sending it to Card Cupids

Speaking of Card Cupids, It's time for another challenge!!!!

We are so excited to be a part of Sketch Saturday, who generously shared their creative sketch. So, you can play in 2 challenges at once!

Here is my card. I used this cute digi from our sponsor Sassy Cheryl's
